Eastern Comma VS Question Mark : Unique differences

Also known as anglewings, the eastern comma and question mark are very similar at first glance. Look for differences in the mark on the underside hindwings and black spots on the inside forewings.

Monarch : Notable decline

A variety of factors (weather, nesting and migration habitat destruction) have contributed to a sharp drop in numbers from 2012 to 2013 for this Minnesota state butterfly. The monarch population crash unfortunately continues in 2014.
